Matrize Opinion Poll Predicts Clear Majority for NDA; BJP Set to Lead

In a major political development ahead of the upcoming elections, the latest IANS–Matrize Opinion Poll indicates that the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is poised to secure a clear majority, with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) emerging as the single largest party. The survey results have sparked intense political chatter, suggesting a strong electoral performance by the ruling coalition.

According to the poll, the NDA is projected to win between 150 to 160 seats, while the Mahagathbandhan (MGB) alliance is expected to secure 70 to 85 seats. Other parties and independents may collectively gather 9 to 12 seats, highlighting a significant gap between the leading alliances.

🔹 Projected Seat Share Breakdown:

  • BJP: 80–85 seats
  • JDU (Janata Dal United): 60–65 seats
  • RJD (Rashtriya Janata Dal): 60–65 seats

The poll suggests that the BJP will maintain its dominance within the NDA, while the JDU continues to play a crucial supporting role. On the opposition side, the RJD appears to be the strongest contender within the MGB alliance.

Political analysts are closely watching these numbers, as they could shape campaign strategies and alliances in the final stretch before voting begins. While opinion polls are not definitive predictors, they often reflect prevailing public sentiment and momentum on the ground.
